Deer Path Lodge

Located in Coosawattee River Resort, this amazing, spacious cabin is the perfect family getaway! Large outdoor porches, five-person hot tub, pool table, two king master suites, small kids getaway and three full bathrooms. You will have free access to all of the resort amenities and the property is just inside the middle gate making it only 10 minutes from downtown Ellijay! About the name, kids will have a blast letting deer eat out of their hands! You are sure to see plenty, Deer Path Lodge!

Space:
The home is easily accessible via all paved roads and has an extended concrete driveway with covered carport. Enough parking for 4 cars!

You will access the home from the front side onto a very open deck that is gated to allow for small children to roam free while relaxing in the large wooden chairs to watch the deer go by!

As you open the front door, you will be flooded by the very open living room featuring a large sectional sofa, gas fireplace and large screen TV. The room connects to a large size slate pool table room and full size kitchen with stainless steel appliances. Cable is also provided for your entertainment and an additional HDMI cable accessible for other electronic devices.

The fully equipped kitchen features a six person dining table, dishwasher, large refrigerator and microwave. It has plenty of counter space for those large family meals or setting up the perfect buffet.

The first king suite is to the right as you enter, with a private bathroom featuring a glass walk-in shower! Plenty of space to escape and enjoy your evening.

Two more queen bedrooms are to the left of the living room with a full size bathroom, tub/shower combo shared in the hallway. Each bedroom has its own smart TV.

The very large second king suite is located off the kitchen upstairs with an office desk, sitting area, smart TV and very large private bathroom featuring a walk-in shower.

Downstairs features a small kids getaway including, shuffleboard, darts, seating area and smart TV with HDMI cables for other electronic devices.

There is another deck space and garden area off the main floor from the kitchen or pool table room. It features a five-person hot tub, gas grill, seating area, overlooking the small yard.

Kids will have a blast exploring the outside area and playing games. Just off the back deck is a fire pit area, picnic table and small private yard. Coosawattee River Resort features a plethora of amenities for the family to enjoy. It includes an indoor and outdoor pool, recreation center (tennis, basketball, pickleball, arcade games, pool table, 18 hole miniature golf course and play area). In addition, the resort has several parks for picnics, and fishing. Fishing Pond Park does not require a fishing license. However, a license is required to fish the river. You can also go tubing. Bring your own or rent from a tubing company outside the resort.

All resort amenities are included with your stay. There are two passes, each good for four guests at the property. They will be in a designated area in the home, hung by lanyards. These need to be replaced before your departure. There is a $59 replacement fee for lost or taken passes.

Cancellation Policy:
● To receive a full refund, guests must cancel within 48 hours of booking, and the cancellation must occur at least 14 days before check-in
● If guests cancel between 7 and 14 days before check-in, you’ll receive a 50% refund for all nights minus any service processing fees.
● If guests cancel after that, you’ll not receive any refund

Guest Access:
The property is located in the very desired Coosawattee Resort. Gate access will be granted for the day of arrival through your departure and passes will be provided for free access to all the resort amenities. The door code will be provided one day prior to arrival and is not active until your check-in time.

Neighborhood Overview:
Coosawattee is a gated community featuring an indoor and outdoor pool, recreation center (arcade games, pool table, fitness center, tennis, pickleball, basketball, 18 hole miniature golf course) and several parks. There is also Fishing Pond Park available for fishing for all ages and a fishing license is NOT required. However, fishing on the Coosawattee River does require a fishing license.

Getting Around:
Coosawattee Resort requires gate access to enter. You will be provided the information to obtain entrance prior to arrival. The roads are paved access with some property access via well maintained gravel roads. The property is home to thousands of deer and you will need to obey the posted speed limits for their safety and yours. Bambi’s mama would not be very happy if you go speeding by!

Coosawattee River Resort is conveniently located close to attractions, restaurants, shopping, parks, waterfalls, wineries, breweries and of course the famous apple orchards.

Privacy:
Other properties are in the neighborhood. We ask that you please respect the owners privacy and comply with private property signs.

Trash and Litter:
Trash pickup service is provided on Monday and Thursday. If the trash cans are full upon arrival, please contact the property management office. All trash must be bagged and placed into the two trash cans provided. Our nature friends love to make a mess when this is not done and the trash companies will not pick up loose trash. Also, if you exceed the capacity of the trash cans before pickup it is your responsibility to remove and take to the disposal locations at:

Quiet time:
Please keep your noise to a minimum between 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. both inside and outside. This includes hot tubs, fire pits and porches. Sound travels easily in the mountains and can disturb unseen guests.
